Machine reconfiguration chart

 

This document gives a list of name changes, which machines need what
version of the OS, hardware reconfigs, etc. that are part of this
upgrade.  Machines are listed by their "old" name and then their "new"
name.  The release of FreeBSD they should have is indicated, along
with some notes indicating whether the machine is ready for upgrade or
not as well as its intended role, things to keep in mind while
upgrading.  Also an X11 indicates the machine should have X11
installed on it.  See other FAQ pages for notes and tips on how to go
about this.

The items under Arun & Mark are mostly done.  There are a few X11
issues that Michele and David are going to look into and a few
switches of hard drives that still have to happen.  Michele and David
will be starting on their part when they get back from vacation.
