• I was the chair of local organization of the Third International Symposium on 3D Data Processing, Visualization and Transmission which was held in Chapel Hill between the 14th and 16th of June 2006. The symposium included 28 refereed oral presentations, 109 refereed posters, 6 keynote presentations by distinguished representatives from both academia and the industry and was attended by approximately 230 people.

• I organize the weekly Computer Vision meeting at UNC. Send me an e-mail if you are interested in presenting your work.

• IMSC 3-D Face Modeling and Recognition demo (since June 2000), using the technology developed by Geometrix.
• Face Modeling and Recognition demo at the International Conference on Computer Vision 2003, NSF Workshop on Robotics and Computer Vision 2003 and Workshop on Multimodal User Authentication 2003
• I trained assistants, organized and performed collection of face images of varying poses and expressions for 65 people in June 2001 and 105 people in October 2003.
