Lab 19: State Queries

For Lab 16, you are to download the Nov13.xlsx spreadsheet that we used in class today and copy the State Information worksheet to a new workbook. Your are then to create three (3) new worksheets (names as indicated) that answer the following 3 queries. Only the fields that are requested should appear on these pages.

• The state, capital and population of all states with a population greater than 10 million or less than 1 million. (population)
• The state, tree and bird of all states with a bird or tree that starts with Eastern or Western (symbols)
• The state, population and area of all states with area between 100,000 and 200,000 (area)

You are to submit the spreadsheet through Sakai to the assignment called Lab18. Remember to include your onyen in your file name.

As with all labs in this class, you may finish posting the lab after class, up until 10 pm. By submitting the lab you are pledging that you have neither given nor received unauthorized help.
