Department Commencement Ceremony The Graduate School Doctoral Hooding Ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. in Polk Place. University Commencement exercises will be held on Sunday, May 9, 2004 at 9:30 a.m. in Kenan Football Stadium. The Department of Computer Science Commencement Ceremony will be held following the Chancellor's Reception at 1:00 p.m. in 100 Hamilton Hall. A reception will immediately follow in the lobby of J. Carlyle Sitterson Hall. We will individually recognize all Undergraduate and Graduate degree recipients in the Department of Computer Science. A hooding ceremony will honor our Ph.D. graduates. Sitterson Hall will be open for touring after the reception. An elevator is available for those who have difficulty climbing stairs. Instructions for Degree Candidates To help us in planning the departmental graduation ceremonies, please follow the instructions below. All graduates should meet in Sitterson 011 prior to the departmental ceremony, at 12:45 p.m. Ph.D. Candidates: As you arrive in Sitterson Hall, after the University Commencement Ceremony, please deliver your doctoral hood to Professor Kevin Jeffay. It will be returned to you in your hooding ceremony. If you have any questions, please contact Karen Thigpen at 962-1717. |
