2009 Regional Contest Information

Regional competition is the first tier of the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest. The Mid-Atlantic Region covers southern New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, the District of Columbia, Virginia, and North Carolina. Contest Environment (still updating)

The machines for the contest are PCs running Linux Centos operating system. The default window manager is Gnome. KDE is also available. After logging in, you will start up the PC2 system. Handouts will be provided.

Programming Languages for the contest are Java (JDK 6.0), C and C++.

We will provide an online link to the Java api and the C++ STL.

Eclipse will be allowed this year, but no other IDE.

The Contest will be held in Sitterson Hall, home of the UNC Department of Computer Science.
