Research Demonstrations
We welcome visitors from the technical community, educational
institutions, and the general public who are interested in our research.
Several days each month we hold public demonstrations of our research.
Because of the demand for demonstrations, we have a waiting list; teachers
wishing to schedule a class or other educational group for a visit should
plan six months in advance. For more information about our research
demonstrations and to be placed on the waiting list, contact the outreach
coordinator at (919) 843-7420 (e-mail:
demo@cs.unc.edu). In order to accommodate our visitors' varying
knowledge, we offer several different demos. Please refer to our
Outreach page to learn more about the types of demos that are available.
Media
Members of the broadcast and print media who are interested in
doing a story on some aspect of our department's research or other
activities should contact our publications and publicity

Tours of the UNC-Chapel Hill Campus
Prospective undergraduates and their families can arrange
campus tours through UNC-Chapel Hill's
Office
of Undergraduate Admissions by calling (919) 966-3621.
All other visitors should arrange tours through
The Visitors'
Center. The Visitors' Center conducts tours for groups by
appointment and on many Saturdays at 11 a.m. For tour
