Consultant Daily Rate (Updated 10 March 2006) UNC-Chapel Hill adopts the National Science Foundation's published daily rate as its maximum daily consultant pay rate. When paying by the hour, the daily rate is divided by eight to establish the maximum hourly rate. The current rates are:
