• Chetro Ketl (Anasazi): Chetro Ketl's Great Kiva-a large, uncerground ceremonial pit-is the special interest of archaeologist John Kantner at the University of California at Santa Barbara.  He has combined the excavated physical evidence with cultural assumptions from surviving traditions and, with Metacreations' Infini-D software, developed a computer model of how the kiva probably looked almost a millennium ago.
