Jur van den Berg, postdoctoral researcher with the GAMMA group. (berg)

Hyeong-Seok Ko, visiting scholar working with Ming Lin. (ko)

Peng Ning, visiting scholar working with Mike Reiter for the fall 2007 semester. Dr. Ning is an associate professor in the Cyber Defense Laboratory, Department of Computer Science at NC State. (pning)

Susan Paulsen, a postdoctoral researcher, joined us in January 2001 to work with Lars Nyland, Jan Prins, and William Wright on the Self-Scheduling N-body Algorithms project. She received her Ph.D. in zoology and genetics in December 1992 from Duke University. Her dissertation on butterfly wing color patterns, with professors Fred Nijhout and Mark Rausher, demonstrated that a key quantity in quantitative genetics, the G-matrix, does not remain constant as required by most theory in this field. She has also worked on the maintenance of genetic variation for flower color in Ipomea purpurea, the common morning glory. Although her work here represents a new direction, the skills she acquires will be useful for her ongoing interest in genomics. (paulsen)

Sharif Razzaque, postdoctoral researcher (sharif)
