Statement of Policy

1. Our departmental publications are exempt from the requirement that they include the total printing costs.

Justification
Publications produced by agencies of the State of North Carolina, of which UNC-Chapel Hill is a part, that meet certain criteria, are required to include a statement saying "_____copies of this public document were printed at a cost of $____, or $____ per copy."

None of the existing publications produced by the Department of Computer Science meet the specified criteria and are not required to include the cost statement. The Publications Manager has details on file.
