"Every student in the nation should have an education in the arts." -National Education Association, National School Boards Association, et al

"The very best engineers and technical designers in the Silicon Valley industry are nearly without exception, practicing musicians." -Grant Venerable, "The Paradox of the Silicon Savior"

Music should be an integral part of every child's education.

What is Bluebird?

Bluebird is an audio based track sequencer. Since music is experienced with the ears, it should be created with the ears. Bluebird can be used without ever looking at the screen!

So why do it?

Music should be both enjoyed and created by everyone. It opens new doors for the visually impaired in musical composition. Adults and children alike will have fun creating their own music, in minutes!

Bluebird would be the work of Elise London, Jasen Hoover, and Konrad Reszka. With special thanks to Eric Hirsch for the sound clips and Lisa Fowler for her audio cues.

Bluebird began as a project for Dr. Gary Bishop's Comp190 Enabling Technologies class at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
