Goldberg To: Undisclosed recipients: ; Subject: summer internship This is an annoucement for a summer internship opportunity for a rising senior, preferably someone majoring in Applied Science. I am looking for a student to work in my lab on assistive technology projects for people with disabilities. This job may involve designing and building new devices as well as maintenance and improvements for previously built devices. The devices may contain circuitry as well as mechanical parts. You will also gain experience in writing, as you help me prepare a publication describing the projects from the class this spring. At the end of the summer, you may decide to submit your own work for publication. This will be a great opportunity to gain experience in engineering design and communication while helping people with disabilities. The salary is $4679 for 10 weeks this summer. If you are interested in this position, please send me a resume, cover letter, and the names and phone numbers of two references. In order to apply, you should have taken (or currently be taking) Physics 102, or you should have significant experience in building circuits. If you have any questions please contact me by phone or email. Richard Goldberg Research Assistant Professor Dept. of Biomedical Engineering
