" Well sweetheart, " Mom said. " I think your snowman needs your help. Dad and Neal say he has been looking rather bad; but first young man you have to get better. " As we started past our front yard my dad’s jaw dropped and my eyes widened. " I thought you said Wayne’s snowman was coming apart? " Mom asked dad and me. There in the front yard stood Wayne’s snowman. Both his arms extended up as before. His smile seemed broader than ever and his large button eyes now had a new gleam to them. Wayne stared out the side window and smiled back. " He looks okay to me. " Since that time Wayne and I have both grown up and now have families of our own. This past Christmas we all got together and built a large snowman on my front yard.
