Admissions Deadline

The UNC Graduate School offers a select number of fellowships to PhD and MS graduate students in Computer Science. To receive full consideration for these fellowships, we recommend you submit your application by December 12, 2023.  To receive full consideration for a Research Assistantship (RA) or a Teaching Assistantship (TA) from the Computer Science department, we recommend you submit your application by January 9, 2024. The deadline to submit your application to the UNC Graduate School to be considered for admission to the PhD and MS programs in Computer Science is March 12, 2024.

Early submission of applications is encouraged and recommended. The deadlines apply to all applicants, including domestic and international applicants. Supplemental materials, such as recommendation letters and/or test scores, can come in after any deadline. The applicant’s part of the application should be completed and submitted by the deadline, including the application fee. The department cannot view applications until the application fee is paid.
