Access codes

Dial 9 Outside line
Dial 0 UNC Operator
Dial 9+0 Operator
Dial 1600 Voice Mail
Dial 1700 Auto attendant
Dial 1702 Console operator

To make a call:

Dial 9+area code+number Note: area code required for local and long distance calls.

Auto dial

To Program or update - Without lifting the handset, press Auto Dial key, press Auto Dial key (flashing indicator), dial number to be programmed, press Auto Dial key again (indicator goes off).
To Use - Lift handset or press directory number key, hear dial tone), press Auto Dial key(number is automatically dialed).

Call forward

To Activate - Without lifting handset, press Forward key (flashing indicator), dial number where calls are to be forwarded, press Forward key again (indicator goes on steadily).
To Cancel - Press Forward key (indicator goes off).
To Reinstate to same number - Press Forward key twice (indicator goes off).

Call pickup

To Respond - Lift handset, hear dial tone), press Call Pickup key

Call transfer

To activate - Press Transfer key(first call is placed on consultation hold), dial number, announce caller in privacy, press Transfer key again, hang up.

Call park

To Park - Press Park key. Either enter the extention number and press the park key OR just press the park key and the system will assign a number.
To Retrieve - Lift handset and dial 572+park number OR if you used an extention, press the Park key.

Conference/consultation hold

1. Call the first person you want to conference.
2. After the person answers, hit the "Conference" button.
3. Dial the next number of the person to be included in the conference.
4. After the person answers, hit the "Conference" button again to join all the members of the conference together.
   *Note* If the person does not answer you must hit the extension button of the original phone call placed, not the "Conference" button.
5. If necessary, repeat steps 2 through 4 to add up to six parties, including yourself.

Do not disturb

To activate - Without lifting handset, press Forward key(flashing indicator), dial 1600 (this will Forward calls to your voice mail box), press Forward key again (indicator goes on steadily).
To Cancel - Press Forward key (indicator goes off).

Last number redial

To Use - Lift handset, press directory number key twice (number is automatically dialed); OR Lift handset or press directory number key, press Last Number Redial key (number is automatically dialed).

Message waiting

To Respond - Message indicator flashes, press your directory number, press Message key, retrieve message from Message Service; OR Hear special dial tone, dial Message Service, receive messages.

Ring again

To Activate - Press Ring Again key (indicator goes on steadily), hang up.
To Respond - Set will buzz (flashing Ring Again indicator), lift handset, hear dial tone), press Ring Again key.
To Cancel - Without lifting handset, press Ring Again key.

Speed call

To Program or Change - Without lifting handset, press Speed Call key (flashing indicator), dial 1-digit Speed Call access code, dial number to be stored, press Speed Call key again (indicator goes off).
To Erase - Press Speed Call key, dial 1-digit Speed Call access code, press Speed Call key.
To Use - Lift handset or press directory number key, hear dial tone), press Speed Call key, dial 1-digit Speed Call access code (number is automatically dialed).
