Information on the department's disaster recovery plan

The department's backup tapes are stored on the other side of a fire wall from the main machine room, SN122. In the event of a disaster that destroys both the computers in SN122 and the contents of the backup tape room, we will replace the servers and restore data from off-site backups. We do a separate set of full backups every two months, and we store these off campus.
