Obtaining a MySQL database and account

The department has a server that runs the MySQL database server software. If you would like an account for a research project or a personal project please email help@cs.unc.edu. Please describe your needs and the amount of data you expect your database project to use. We will send you instructions on how to login and get started with your MySQL database.
The deparment also runs MySQL on various research servers. If you would like to have MySQL configured on your server please email help@cs.unc.edu and describe your needs.
