Windows Update for Windows 7

Instructions for running Microsoft Windows Update under Windows 7

This process will most likely require you to reboot your computer, so please plan accordingly.

1. Open Internet Explorer. Click on the "Safety" menu, then "Windows Update".

2.  Click on "Install Updates"

3.  Windows will return a report with the available updates.  Be sure to apply the "Important Updates."

4.  Close the window and reboot if instructed when the updates are complete.
