DeltaSphere

DeltaSphere uses a laser to scan a room, crime scene, archeological site, or any other three dimensional (3-D) space. With the information from the laser scan, computer scientists can then recreate the scene in 3-D. The scene might be used in a museum display, to document historical sites that are being destroyed by the effects of the environment, or to help investigators solve a crime.
