Abstract
The CLEANSE project team includes leading security research groups from Georgia Tech, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, and strong parters in industry (major ISPs, Internet/network operators, security companies). The CLEANSE project will ensure the set of new security technologies developed by the researchers be integrated and evaluated in the real world and have a path for technology-transfer, with the help of the industry partners. Our ultimate goal is to have real impacts and such a holistic approach to security research is a must. In addition, our education and outreach efforts include joint technical workshops with the industry and law enforcement agencies.
