Experiential Technologies for Urban Warfare and Disaster Response

Abstract
We propose to establish a Center for the development of the next-generation modeling, simulation, visualization and experiential technologies for urban warfare and disaster response. The Center will develop new technologies related to crowd simulation, procedural generation of urban models, physics-based weather simulation and evacuation planning. These technologies will be used for behavior modeling, insurgency planning and automatic generation of realistic urban scenarios. We will also develop appropriate APIs that would enable interfacing our multi-agent simulation techniques into game environments and combat maneuver simulation systems
