HCC: Small: Interactive Auditory Displays

Abstract
The objective of this project is to develop new technologies for interactive sound synthesis and propagation. This includes novel real-time physically-based methods for synthesizing sound. Moreover, we will develop novel geometric and numerical approaches for sound propagation and exploit the capabilities commodity multi-core and many-core architecures for interactive computtions. We will demonstrate their applications for acoustic design and designing novel interfaces for desktop applications and assisted technologies.
