    Abstract:

    We propose to extent the system to enable automotive applications by enlarging the range of the computed depth maps to incorporate farther away objects. The system will be extended to leverage higher resolution cameras (up to 3 MP) for a higher precision in the stereo computation. Additionally, we propose to incorporate the car odometry data into the system to enable the detection of independently moving objects within the depth maps and the sparse feature maps.
