Abstract
The objective of this proposed FY05 expansion grant is to demonstrate the application of Front-Projective Display in Tracked Virtual Environments, Leveraging UNC's work under DARPA DARWARS grants (Dr. Ralph Chatham - Program Manager), UNC will work with ONR's Virtual Technologies and Environments team (VIRTE, LCDR Dylan Schmorrow - Program Officer) to develop and install a front-projection display system at the Navel Research Lab in Washington DC and help the VIRTE team modify a tracked VE application to operate in this visual theatre.
