Colloquium Committee (COL)

The Colloquium Committee arranges for internal or external speakers in the Departmental Colloquium slot (and negotiates the time of that slot, as required). The Committee will oversee the expenditure of departmental funds for travel or honoraria for speakers when such funds exist and will coordinate colloquium schedules as possible with neighboring institutions (Duke, NCSU, NCAandT, UNC-G, etc). The committee also seeks funding for special colloquium series.

Two graduate students are appointed to this committee.
