Multimedia Facilities

Computer Science offers a wide variety of multimedia options, both for check out and installed throughout Sitterson. These web pages cover what services are available and how CS affiliates may access them.

Multimedia Classrooms

A number of classrooms in Sitterson offer multimedia services, including digital and analog video projection, video taping, and stereo sound support. You can (and should!) reserve these rooms via the Meeting Maker software. Here's a list of rooms with multimedia enhancements.

Rooms with extensive multimedia support all have an AMX control system, audio support for PCs and laptops, one or more projector, one or more PCs with remote mouse and keyboard, data and power at the seats or tables. Additional features are noted per room.
  • SN011: 2 projectors, 2 PCs, support for high quality video conferencing via fiber, high quality recording, wireless microphones,  desktop microphones, assistive technology for those with hearing impairment, lighting controls
  • SN014: 2 PCs, high quality recording, wireless microphones, lighting controls
  • SN115: 2 projectors, DVD
  • FB007: Assistive technology for those with hearing impairment, lighting controls
  • FB008: Assistive technology for those with hearing impairment, lighting controls
  • FB009: (please note, this is an ITS supported classroom) 3 projectors, thin client pc, assistive technology for those with hearing impairment, lighting controls
  • FB120: Wireless microphones, conference phone, lighting controls
  • FB141: 2 projectors, assistive technology for those with hearing impairment, lighting controls

Rooms with limited multimedia support have a projector and are designed to support a laptop user.
