Stuff about me

I am currently a Resident in Emergency Medicine at Stony Brook University Hospital.

My wife.

My son.

My sister.

I have a really cute greyhound named Robroy. I miss my first, award-winning greyhound whose name was Jalapeno

I used to play clarinet and saxophone with the Magnolia Klezmer Band

I am a founding member of the IDEA2000 climbing team. I have been a member of the medical staff for Camp Carolina Trails (aka "diabetes camp").

Research

Here is a link to my prior research project group (ultrasound) (these pages are a little out of date though). This is a direct link to my main interest, laparoscopic visualization. InnerOptic has licensed the technology that I developed with Kurtis Keller, Andrei State, and Henry Fuchs in my dissertation

Here is an article about my research group in UNC's Endeavors research journal (cover photo is me).
