COMP 14: Introduction to Programming. AFS

Disk Space in AFS

All students with a UNC onyen have access to 200MB of disk space in the campus AFS system.
If you have a PC, you may not use this disk space, but it will be useful if you have to come to campus computer labs.

If you do not have an onyen, go here.

If you already have an onyen and you want to access your AFS disk space, go here.
You will find guidelines for installing an AFS client on a variety of operating systems (e.g. Windows is the last one in the list).
If you have any problem following those guidelines, you can contact me (adyilie[@]cs.unc.edu).

When you log on an ATN computer at the computer labs in campus, you will need your onyen and password.
Once you log on, the H: drive in the computer will be automatically assigned to your AFS disk space.
That way you can access the AFS disk space both from your PC and from lab computers.

These guidelines have been borrowed from Miguel Angel Otaduy (http://www.cs.unc.edu/~otaduy).
