Ensure that Comp Sci departmental funds aren't frozen by the GPSF (Graduate
and Professional Student Foundation). This is done by having the Graduate
Studies student committee member attend one of every three monthly GPSF
meetings. Check at the GPSF office, 2nd floor Student Union, tele. # 962-5675.
To get reimbursed, fill out form available at office, include copy of each
relevant receipt, sign each separate paper/document, turn in. Our GPSF
representative will have information when it becomes available.
Typical expenses:
Spring Picnic - In 1999, we spent $23 on the renting the shelter at Carrboro
Municipal Park (Anderson Park) and $215 on food and drinks. Of that, the
department paid the $23 for the shelter, and GPSF paid $213 for picnic
supplies.
