Department review
The CSSA Department Review is a project in UNC Computer Science department. We are hoping to provide a forum for students to comment on classes, professors, and our general environment. A public database of constructively critical remarks will perhaps give the faculty a realistic gauge of student opinion. The Department Review's goal is essentially twofold: to increase the quality of teaching, and to provide a forum for communication among students about specific professors and classes. More details about the feedback system are in the original outline presented to the faculty in 1994.

We gave this system a trial run with no moderation, and it was successful; if we have any problems with content, however, we will quickly move towards a moderated (and therefore less interesting) system. Comments entered here will be appended immediately to the comment files. If you see something that offends you in these files, please immediately inform the CSSA president.
