NTIS = the National Technical Information Service NTIS makes available a large collection of reports, books, journals, published searches, and more. Most government-sponsored research reports can be found in this collection. The database is available for searching via CD-ROM at Brauer Library. Duke's library also has this database in their CD-ROM tower system; this means that it is accessible via telnet under certain conditions. These conditions probably include being a Duke student or having an account on a Duke computer system. Their tower system is somewhat more convenient to search, since you can access all of the discs at once.
