Foosball is stress relief and social gathering for students and faculty
of the CS department. We have a Tornado table.
The foosball Meister would arrange a foosball tournament each semester.
Arranging a tournament involves arranging the two member teams, maintain
the game schedule and results and find the winner prizes. The meister would
also maintain the foosball table. This prestigious job is available to
anyone; first year grad students are also encouraged to volunteer.
Tournaments will hopefully be held once a semester. Here is
record of the games. Usually there is a beginners and advanced league.
More details to come.
We take foosing very serious, so here are some rules.
A typical game consists of four games to allow for all combination of players.
To avoid ambiguity, before the third game, the winner's team should switch.
definition: waste: consists of at least four foosball games where
all combinations of players are used (a tie-breaker is included if each
team wins twice)
