Graduate Tea -- Weekly social event for graduate students to meet.

• Teaching awards -- Awarded yearly, the reward recognizes the teaching talent of faculty. Two recipients are nominated by students.

• CSSA president -- Description of CCSA officer duties
• Department Committees -- Students participate in department committees addressing issues ranging from facilities to admissions.
• Volunteering -- Possibility to volunteer in support of CSSA events and activities.
• Faculty meeting minutes -- Informs students of issues discussed at the faculty meetings related to them.
• Candidates Day -- Prospective graduate students visit the department usually held in March.
