Introduction

In this course, we will study collaborative systems, also called groupware.

We will study two forms of collaborative systems: (i) collaborative applications and (ii) collaborative infrastructures - systems that support the implementation of collaborative applications. This area raises both technical and social issues, in this course we will focus on the former.
