Blind and sighted participants needed to evaluate technology making
diagrams accessible to the blind
You get paid:
$5 per hour

A session is approximately 2 hour

Participate through the internet from the convenience of your computer.

Participate in person in Sitterson Hall, UNC Chapel Hill North Carolina
Description of Study:
- We are investigating the Deep View
software to make diagrams accessible to blind persons. Specifically the
software provides access to node-link diagrams, such as flow chart,
trees, and UML (diagrams for software engineers). No specific knowledge
about node-link diagrams required.
- Participants will answer questions and edit several diagrams.
- Participants will complete a questionnaire about their experience
using the computer interface.
Eligibility:
We encourage blind and sighted persons to participate. Also
- Participants must be at least 18 years old.
- Participants must use computer at least several times a week
- Participants must be proficient in spoken and written English.
- Participants participating online must have a computer with
internet connection.
