Participants needed to evaluate software to assist blind and
sighted people collaborate on creating and viewing diagrams
You get paid:
$5 per hour, about $15

A session is approximately 3 hours

Participate through the internet from the convenience of your computer.

Description of Study:
- We are investigating the Deep View
software to support collaboration between a blind person and a sighted
person working on diagrams. Specifically the software provides access
to node-link diagrams, such as flow chart, trees, and UML (diagrams for
software engineers). No specific knowledge about node-link diagrams
required.
- A blind and sighted person will work together to create several
diagrams.
- Participants will complete a questionnaire about their experience
working with the other person and using the computer interfaces.
Eligibility:
We encourage blind and sighted persons to participate. Also
- Participants must be at least 18 years old.
- Participants must use computer at least several times a week
- Participants must be proficient in spoken and written English.
- Participants participating online must have a computer with
internet connection.
