Eat at Qdoba tonight for a good cause.

I'm a recent graduate from the CS department, and am super passionate seeing lives changed in developing nations. I volunteered with Honduras Children last year, and had an excellent experience! They do a lot of work in the community of El Porvenir, Honduras -- English classes, being a resource for kids in the community, and hosting educational summer camps when the kids are out of school. I thought it would be an excellent addition to their resources to have a small computer lab. This project is super achievable, and we already have 4 donated machines & 1 lcd -- awesome!

However, there will definitely be some associated expenses. To name a few -- tables & chairs for the lab, additional security for the room that will be housing the lab, shipping the computers to honduras (yikes!), and internet set up fees. I'm trying to keep this list as up to date as possible: (http://www.beemarie.com/computerlab.php) Next Monday (October 22nd), I'll be hosting an event at Qdoba -- Basically we'll receive a small percentage of the proceeds from people who purchase dinner there from 5-8 AND who put their receipt in our "receipt bowl"! Could you please plan on eating dinner at Qdoba on Monday the 22nd? They have delicious food, and you'll be doing good by choosing them as your dinner location! SO EASY.
