I am Gu Ye (pronounced [Goo Yeh]), a second year graduate student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the Computer Science Deaprtment. My research interests include robotics and and computer graphics. I am currently a research assistant of the Robotics Group, and my advisor is Prof. Ron Alterovitz. Previously I also worked with Prof. Henry Fuchs and Prof. Greg Welch on autostereoscopic display and the Wide Area Visuals project.

Before coming to Chapel Hill, I got my bachelor degree in Zhejiang Univeristy at Hangzhou, China, and my advisor was Professor Hujun Bao. My hometown is Guangzhou (also known as Canton).

In the fall of 2008, I had a research internship at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, advised by Prof. Rui Wang.
