To use the IBM
Update Connector you need to have a phone cord connected to the back
of your Mwave modem. Click on picture
to see exactly where to plug the phone line in.
The Update Connector sends basic information about the system to the
IBM HelpCenter. You will be given an opportunity to see this information
before it is sent. Also, any updates that are applied are uninstallable
(from the Aptiva Installer) up to the point you begin the next Update Connector
session.

Click on CONNECT
TO BBS to access the bulletin board now.
If
you want to view a detailed version of your
Easy Test Diagnostics log, click on EASY
TEST LOG.
If you want to view your Advanced Diagnostics log, click on ADVANCED
LOG.
For an overview, and instructions on moving through the Aptiva
Helper, click on GENERAL
HELP.
