Before we had Alex and Ethan, Andrea and Thom had our "first-born" --Ozzie the Fabulous WunderKat. We got him from the Animal Shelter in Houston (yes, all three of our kids are native Texans, yee-haw) in 1987.

A grey striped Tabby, Ozzie was an indoor-only cat for many years, but drove his Food People crazy what with urinary marking (even post-neuter). So he is indoor-outdoor now, and doing well. Rare fleas, worms... had a nasty abscess on scalp from cat fight.

Here's a picture of a wet Ozzie after a bath, and one of him dry and stoic. Here's Ozz cuddled by someone who loves but is allergic to him! Ozzie eating.

Ozzie had trouble adjusting to his two younger brothers, what with their naive fur-grabbing and over-zealous affection, but does better with them now.

Ozzie was fascinated by Gumbo the bird. To this day Thom will not reveal to Andrea what he found that morning, besides feathers everywhere...

Thom has had many nice cats in his time -- the original KITTY, back at Red Pine Ridge, where he grew up. BLACKHEAD was a Galveston TX mother.

Thom grew up with the fabulous collie Duffy (Laird McDuff of Red Pine Ridge). Panda had some mighty big paws to fill.
