Genus Cladomyrma (Formicinae)

Wheeler, W.M. 1920: 53. Type species: Aphomomyrmex hewitti Wheeler, by monotypy. The type species, Aphomomyrmex hewitti Wheeler, is a junior synonym of Cladomyrma andrei Emery.
- OVERVIEW.
The five species in this genus are arboreal and nest in the internodes of trees and vines. They are found in the rainforests of Indonesia, Malaysia, and Borneo (Brown, 2000, in Agosti, Majer, et.al. Ants: standard methods for measuring and monitoring biodiversity: 50), and they are rarely collected (Agosti, 1991: 293).
