Windows 95 Installation Notes ----------------------------- To have the program automatically installed, follow these steps: 1. Open the Windows 95 explorer. (Start Menu -> Programs) 2. Find your CD-ROM drive in the left-hand column. Click once on it. 3. The contents of the CD-ROM should appear on the right-hand side of the explorer window. Find the folder labeled 'AUTORUN' and double- click on it to open it. 4. Double-click on the icon labeled 'AUTO95.EXE' to launch the installation main menu. 5. If you have Quicktime for Windows 95 already installed on your PC, skip to the next step. If not, or if you are unsure, click on the button labeled 'Install Quicktime'. This will start the Quicktime for Windows 95 installer. 6. Click on the button labeled 'Install Shortcut' to have an icon created for you to launch the application. To have the program automatically uninstalled, follow these steps: 1. Click on the start menu, then click 'Settings' and 'Control Panel'. 2. Once the Control Panel opens, click on the icon labeled 'Add/Remove Programs'. 3. Find the application labeled 'IMS CD-ROM' in the list and click once on it. 4. Click on the 'Add/Remove' button to uninstall the application. To manually install this program in Windows 95, follow these steps: 1. Click on the QT32.EXE icon on the CD-ROM. This will install Quicktime for Windows 95 if you don't already have it installed on your system. 2. Click on the icon on the CD-ROM labeled IMS.EXE. This will start the IMS application. All other applications should be closed for optimum performance.
