Example-based Texture Synthesis

Vivek Kwatra is a postdoctoral researcher in the Computer Science Department at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He received his MS and PhD degrees in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2004 and 2005, respectively. Earlier, he received his BTech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Delhi, India. His research interests include image/video-based computer graphics, texturing for rendering and animation, and the intersection of data-driven and physically-based synthesis techniques.
