We invite applications from candidates with research interests in artificial intelligence planning and scheduling. Desired backgrounds include planning and scheduling, search, optimization, diagnosis, and knowledge representation. A PhD or substantial relevant experience is required.

The Embedded Reasoning Area (ERA) is a growing group of researchers in artificial intelligence (AI), control and optimization. Our work covers many layers of R&D, ranging from abstract model formulation all the way down to embedded software implementation on real physical hardware platforms. We emphasize general scalable model based approach in our solutions and a central theme in the group is to tackle projects that require very tight integration of the technologies mentioned above.
