I saw an ad for a paragliding school, which offered some sightseeing flights with a pilot.
We drove up a mountain, walked a ways, then the pilot pulled the sail out of a backpack he was carrying.
All we had to do was take a few steps and we were airborne. In many ways this is more fun than flying a plane because you go very slowly and close to the ground.
The pilot had a camera on a stick (a tripod leg) that he used to take these pictures.
