This is a Shoal Bay (East) Beach on the island of Anguilla, one of my favorite beaches (see review of Anguilla beaches). The sand is very fine, the water is crystal clear, and the sea bottom slopes gently. A coral reef is within easy swimming distance offshore. To top it off, there are several good places right on the beach to enjoy a meal or a beer, and I've never seen it crowded. Try Uncle Ernie's or Madeariman's for lunch. Make a day of it by renting a beach chair and umbrella from Raymond or Pressure King.
