You can get a copy of the WinZip program from the UNC Shareware page. This is the program that I use, but there are many others.
After you install WinZip, it's very easy to make an archive of your Visual J++ project.
Say you have a folder with your project that looks something like this.

The simplest way to make a Zip file is to point at the folder and right-click the mouse. Below I'm making an archive of the folder Program 3.

When I release the mouse button, a new Zip file is created.

Now that you have your whole project in a file, you can look at it (just to make sure everything is OK) by double-clicking Program 3.zip. You'll see something like this.

Upload this file on the Blackboard system just like you did the homework. The process is described on this web page.
If you run into problems, don't worry, just bring your assignment in on a floppy by the beginning of class.
