There's a class forum where you can post questions, tips, etc.
The grades will be posted on UNC's Blackboard system.
The textbook will be
Morris Mano and Charles Kime, Logic and Computer Design Fundamentals, 3nd Edition, Prentice Hall, 2004 (errata page). We won't be using the software that comes with it. Instead we'll use a newer version.
You'll also need access to a copy of Computer Organization and Design: The Hardware/Software Interface, Second Edition by David A. Patterson and John L. Hennessy. That's the COMP120 textbook, so you probably already have a copy. We'll be using the MIPS architecture and this book serves as a reference.
Finally, you'll want a reference to the Verilog logic design language. The bookstore has a book, or look on the link page for some electronic references.
