video shows how the command “moveto”
works, which is used to move the other avatar to some place. As you can see in
the video, I can register the movement point at once. If you execute “moveto x1 y1 x2 y2 … xnyn”, the other avatar move to (x1,y1),
and after reached that place, it move to (x2, y2), and so on.
video shows the command “moveto” can be
executed in serial mode. If you execute this command many times, the points are
registered, so the “moveto x1 y1” and “moveto x2 y2” is equivalent to “moveto x1 y1 x2 y2”.
two videos show the motion planning in second life. SLMovie_NoTracer.avi shows
the result with no particle tracer, and SLMovie_Tracer.avi shows the result
with particle tracer is activated. The “plan start” command firstly
collects the neighbor geometry, and planning using RRT. After the planning is
over, it warps the avatar to start position (green object) and start planned path
to goal position (red object).
