Welcome!
I am a fourth-year PhD candidate in the Department of Computer Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am a member of the Real-Time Systems Group at UNC headed by Professor James H. Anderson. I am interested in real-time scheduling theory My current research topics include scheduling theory for soft real-time and hybrid systems on multicore and conventional multiprocessor platforms. Also, I am interested in adding the real-time approaches to Linux operating system. I plan to graduate in December of 2009. Prior to UNC, I received an M.S. and B.S. in Applied Mathematics and Physics from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology in June 2005 and 2003. I have also interned at School of Computing at National University of Singapore in Summer 2007 and worked part-time in Moscow when I was an undergraduate student.
